Privacy Policy

The short version: your progress photos stay on your iPhone and are never uploaded. The optional AI face check sends one selfie through our server to Google Gemini and we do not store it. We collect anonymous usage analytics with no names or emails. No ads, no tracking across apps, and we never sell your data.

This policy explains what Face Yoga: Daily Glow (“the app”, “we”) collects, why, and what stays with you. It applies to the iPhone app and this website.

Progress photos

Photos you take in the app to track your progress are saved only on your device, inside the app. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and they are not synced to iCloud. The app keeps a little information about each photo (the date, how well it lined up with the guide, and its file name) so it can show them in order. Miri only talks about facts like how many days have passed or how many sessions you did; she never comments on how your face looks.

The optional AI face check

If you choose to use the face check, the app sends one selfie to our server, which runs on Cloudflare, and our server passes it to Google Gemini to suggest up to three focus areas for your routine (for example “jaw and neck tension”). It does not give a score or grade. We do not store or log the photo: it is passed straight through and discarded once the suggestions come back. Google processes the image under its Gemini API terms. You never have to use the face check to use the app.

To keep the service fair and prevent abuse, our server also receives the app’s random install id and an Apple App Attest check that the request comes from the genuine app.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog to understand which lessons and screens are used, so we can improve the app. Events look like “lesson completed” or “program started” and are tied to a random install id created by the app. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts or precise location, and analytics never include your photos. Answers you give during onboarding (such as your age range or which areas you want to focus on) may be stored with that random id to tailor your plan.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We use Adapty to check whether your subscription is active and to show the right plan. Adapty receives purchase records from Apple and the same random install id. We never see your payment card details.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app can sync your routine progress (such as completed sessions, your streak and program position) to your own private iCloud account, so it follows you to a new iPhone. This data is held by Apple in your iCloud and we cannot read it. Photos are not synced.

What we don’t do

Service providers

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and deleting your data

Everything the app keeps on your device, including your photos, is removed when you delete the app. Synced progress can be removed in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. Because analytics use only a random install id, deleting the app also breaks the link to any past analytics. If you would like us to delete anything else, contact us through the Support page.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
